We loved having David Tanis and his latest book, One Good Dish. Samples of his spinach cake (from his book A Platter of Figs) were served on toasted slices of baguette from Darshan bakery in Encinitas. Fresh squeezed orange juice and flavored waters were also served, and samples of caramels from Caramel Collective (which we also sold in our pop-up pantry). It was a fun and successful day!
