We were thrilled to have the legendary Deborah Madison kicking off the fall season of the Good Earth / Great Chefs series, featuring her latest cookbook, Vegetable Literacy. Nina MacConnel prepared a delicious corn curry for guests to sample, served on a bed of coconut rice, with a grilled shishinto pepper and sweet potato leaf as garnish. Stumblefoot Brewery was also pouring two of their more popular beers which paired beautifully with the food. There was also some flavored waters and hand-squeezed orange juice on hand to keep guests hydrated and happy. So despite the scorching temperatures, the day was a big success!
